Obesity is the most frequent metabolic disease that leads to serious metabolic, organ, psychic and socioeconomic consequences. Prevalence of obesity is increasing all over the world. World Health Organisation (WHO) defines obesity as an epidemic and about 300 millions of adults are estimated to suffer from obesity. Obesity is the cause of higher mortality, morbidity, incapacity for work and of lower quality of life. Regarding the severity of obesity complications its prevention and treatment is of great importance. Important component of integrated approach to the obesity treatment is administration of modern drugs that help to reduce the body weight quickly and what is very important they maintain the reduce weight for a long time.
