The proper selection of approaches and laboratory tests in diagnosis of makrocytic anemias depend on the careful analysis and physician experience .Deficiency of iron, vitamin B12 and folate are the most often reasons of anemias in the all countries. The method based on red cell morphology categorizes anemias by the size of the the erythrocytes. According to this system, anemias are either macrocytic, normocytic, or microcytic. Macrocytic anemias are the result of a defect in either nuclear maturation or stimulated erythropoesis. Megaloblastic anemia represent a reconstruction of bone marrow associated with a deficiency of either vitamin B12 or folate. The other type of macrocytic anemias is due to increased destruction red cell and erythropoietin stimulation, which increases the synthesis of hemoglobin in developing cells. This disorder causes a premature release of reticulocytes into the blood circulation.
