Non ST elevation acute coronary syndromes (NSTEACS) as the clinical manifestation of coronary atherothrombosis represent important cause of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, especially in industrial countries. That is reason why enormous efforts are focused on development of new therapeutic approaches in management of these syndromes. Patients presenting with NSTEACS have to be stratified for the high risk of complications and adverse outcomes. The optimal treatment strategy requires combination of effective pharmacologic (mainly powerful antithrombin and antiplatelet) therapy along with complementary early coronary angiography and revascularization, when feasible. There are recently published some important clinical studies concerning to the modern management of the NSTEACS.
