The authors present clinical manifestations of paraneoplastic rheumatic syndromes which can develop during the tumor disease or they can precede the tumor disease or follow the tumor disease. Paraneoplastic rheumatic syndromes are divided according to Fam criteria. They are divided into skin, muscular, arterial, vascular and mixed syndromes. The authors focus on detailed clinical description of mixed paraneoplastic rheumatic syndromes and syndrome RS3PE which is often linked to tumor diseases. Serious problem is occurrence of antinuclear antibodies in these syndromes that signifies the role of laboratory diagnostics in revealing the association of rheumatic syndromology with the tumor disease. The given problems refer to the need of cooperation between rheumatologists and oncologists that can bring benefits for our patients.
