Due to growing prevalence and disunited views of clinical management, adrenal incidentaloma represent the current
problem of internal medicine or rather endocrinology. In a simplified way AI can be defined as tumors or tumorous adrenal
lesion diagnosed after the CT/MR/USG imaging method examination medically indicated from a different reason
than adrenal disease. AI prevalence rate is higher with overweight elderly people and with women. Morphologically the
most frequent types of AI are benign adenomas. The other findings are myelolipomas, pheochromocytomas, adrenocortical
carcinoma, cysts, hemorrhage etc. Based on the 2016 European Society of Endocrinology Clinical Practice Guideline
we describe diagnostic approach, treatment and follow-up of patients with AI.
