The swine influenza virus A(H1N1) causes the swine influenza. The seriousness of this disease lays in diffusion among breedings, in possible transmission to humans and possibility of a pandemic strain formation which would lead to a human influenza pandemic. Contemporary epizootologic and epidemiologic situation requests a strong public health system on both national and international level. A specific readiness to the illness (diagnostics, treatment, vaccination and policy verification), an effective system of coordination and collaboration play an important role. A regular informing of specialists and public is necessary for creation of a policy a policy needed in case that a human influenza pandemics will emerge.
