Hypospadia is a congenital disorder of the urethra. External urethral meatus is placed proximally and ventrally from the top of glans penis. The etiology of this disorder is unknown, it is presumed as multifactorial etiology. There are three basic forms of hypospadia: distal, middle and proximal forms. Diagnosis is simple. Special preparation before surgical correction is usually not necessary. Optimal age for hypospadia correction is usually between 6th and 24th month. The aim of treatment is to create a sufficiently wide neouretra, without fistula, strictures or hair, and straight penis with aesthetic skin cover. For choosing the correct therapeutic procedure is necessary to define whether to act on the functions necessary, or aesthetic surgery.
