International Kidney Day 2016 International Society of Nephrology (ISN) and International Federation of Kidney Foundations (IFKF) dedicated to pediatric and adolescent nephrology. They stressed important part of the nephropathies begins already in children age. A dates on the pediatric nephropathies incidence are diverse, they increased after universal USG fetal screening. Most of the pediatric nephropathies have hereditable and congenital origin, in interesting center are also heritable disorders of the cilia’s (so called „ciliopathies“), nephropathies in infants with small weight for age and rare (orphan) diseases. Important progresses in pediatric nephrology were in problems of the prevention, therapy and prognosis for instance in therapy of atypical hemolytic-uremic syndrome or cystic diseases of the kidney. Sensitive we need solve the problem of the transfer patient with nephropathy from pediatrician to internal nephrology.
