Vaccination is considered the most successful step in preventive medicine. Vaccines save countless lives and improve health and well-being around the world. Nevertheless, the WHO has identified vacinne hesitancy as one of ten global health threats at present.
Communication is a key success tool of any vaccination program as well as essential indicator of vacinne hesitancy. There is no universal solution for vacinne hesitancy. It is necessary to create more opportunities for parents and other stakeholders to discuss their concerns. The power of dialogue and listening should never be underestimated. It is preferable to focus on parents hesitation, not on fight with anti-vaccine movements.
