We are describing the case of partial HELLP syndrome in a woman burdened with several internal diseases, which hindered accurate and quick diagnosis. Atypical clinical course contributed to the delay of the diagnosis and the early termination of pregnancy, when at observation on bed, hydration and administering of corticosteroid treatment for maturation of the foetus there was observed a distinct improvement of laboratory results as well as of the subjective condition. Gravidity termination was delayed due to the attitude of the patient to the care of the foetus whose prognosis was, because of limited viability and bad clinical condition, very unsatisfactory and she refused the obstetric intervention. Due to the further deterioration of the patient’s condition gravidity was terminated, an immature newborn with the weight 450 g died and after substitution therapy the condition of the patient improved.
