The work reminds of demographic, medical, environmental, human-legal and also ethical aspects of definition of reproductive health, which was created at population conference of United Nations Organization in Cairo in 1994. In respect to the coming 20th anniversary of Cairo conference it points to deepening of problems in this field which are related to sexual abuse of children, forced prostitution, increase of sexually transmitted infections, undesirable pregnancies, increase of risky and illegal abortions which negatively influence reproductive health, fertility and also endanger women’s life. It points to basic pillars of World Health Organization programme for protection of reproductive health: sexual education, planned parenthood, health services focused on prevention of undesirable phenomena, elimination of economical barriers to methods of planned parenthood and maintenance of legal status of abortions.
