Appropriate endometrial receptivity is a prerequisite for proper embryo implantation and development. Its disorders result in infertility. In recent years, our understanding of the implantation has been increased by the identification of substances regulating correct function of the endometrium. The capillary electrophoresis with contactless conductivity detection is one of the promising methods. Endometrial biopsy - local endometrial injury - is used in clinical practice. Many studies have found increased number of specific immune cells, pro-inflammatory cytokines and endometrial remodelling. The performed one in the cycle before the one with embryo transfer significantly improved pregnancy rate. Endometrial receptivity should be considered in clinical practice.
