Hereditary breast and ovarian cancer is the most frequent female hereditary malignity. Even the examination possibilities
of responsible genes have been known for longer, no complete strategy has been elaborated for dispensarisation
of such afflicted patients. This article served as a basis for guidelines created by the main medical genetic specialist
of the Ministry of Health on standardization for genetic diagnostics of mutations responsible for this disease and following
dispensarization of patients afflicted by the syndrome of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. It was originated
on the basis of consensus of specialists in medical genetics, who are the authors of this paper.
