Vertebrogenic pain syndrome is a health problem that most people encounter during the course of their lives. In the most cases it is a benign disease with a tendency to spontaneous recovery. The range of therapeutic methods is very wide and there is no ideal treatment approach. All guidelines for therapy of vertebrogenic pain syndrome including the guidelines for discogenic radicular syndromes recommend the prescription of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) as the first-line treatment _option.
