Multiple Sclerosis (SM) is a chronic and progressive demyelinating inflammatory disease of the central nervous system
(CNS). It is thought to be the consequence of the interaction of genetic and environmental factors, which are
not yet fully understood. CNS impairment is also manifested in the weakening of cognitive functions. Cognitive disorders
are relatively common in patients with multiple sclerosis. It appears that roughly every other patient with MS has
some form of cognitive impairment. Cognitive disorders are not evenly affected. Thus, a particular patient cannot predict
any cognitive disability profile. The most frequent weakening is observed in the area of memory, attention, speed
of information processing and in executive functions. We want to summarize the findings related to these disorders
