Therapeutical influence of the treatment of multiple sclerosis patients on the scale immunomodulation / immunosupression
Multiple sclerosis is immunopathological neurodegenerative diseases of central nervous system in which pathogenesis the key role is deserved to the harm inflammation. Currently, at least 10 approved drugs are available with the potential modulate unfavorable natural course of multiple sclerosis. The treatment of multiple sclerosis has to be individualized to reach the maximal benefit for the patient with the minimum of adverse effects. Drugs are different in the mechanisms of their action with the specific position on the continual spectrum comprising immunomodulatory activities on one pole and immunosupressive activities of the second pole of this spectrum.
