Introduction: Renal cell carcinoma in the solitary kidney is rare disorders. There are two distinct goals in the treatment. The ongological radicalness on the one hand and saves most functional kidney parenchyma on the other. Clinical collection and methods: Between 1999- 2004 eleven patients with renall cell carcinoma in solitary kidney were treated. In one case we performed radical nephrectomy, in 7 cases nephron sparing surgery and in tre cases we performed bench surgery and autotransplantation. Results: One patient died from disease reccurence and ten patients are alive without nedeed of hemodialysis. Conclusions: Radical nephrectomy, nephron sparing surgery, bench surgery and autotransplantation are the steps to eradication of all tumor lesions present in the kidneys. The results confirm that renal function has been preserved with this method.
