Hydronephrosis is the non-physiological enlargement of the kidney pelvis connected with the urine obstruction. The basic diagnostic criterion as well as the indication for the operative intervention itself is the difference of the obstruction hydronephrosis from the functional one. The classic lumbotomic approach is the golden standard of the surgical treatment of the obstruction hydronephrosis. Laparoscopic pyeloplastics, on the other side, is the most progressive reconstruction method. Schuessler published the first laparoscopic pyeloplastics in 1993. We evaluate retrospectively our own experience with the resection and flap techniques during the period from January 2000 till the end of the year 2005. In the monitored period 38 laparoscopic transperitoneal pyeloplastics were carried out, i.e. 21 resection pyeloplastics from this amount were done according Hynes- Anderson and 17 flap pyeloplastics modified according the Culp- Scardino authors. The average time of operations, early and late complications, the time of hospitalization and the consumption of analgetics were evaluated in our _article.
