Introduction: Conservative measures are the basis in treatment of retroperitoneal hematoma. Surgical treatment in hematological patients should be indicated in vital cases or if conservative management is not sufficient. Materials and methods: The authors present the onset of retroperitoneal hematoma in 3 hematological patients and their following therapeutic management. Results: Patients became stable after the surgical and conservative management, they were followed up by CT and USG, the local finding of hematoma was stable or improved, without latest signs of bleeding. Conclusion: CT is the superior diagnostic modality to establish the progression, shape, size and margins of hematoma. It also allows differentiating the latest signs of bleeding or hematoma of older origin, which is important for the planning of therapeutic schedule.
