Ulcer gastroduodenal lesions are frequent diseases of the digestive trackt. The onset of ulcer lesions results from dysbalance between s.c. agressive factors, like e.g. gastric acid, and protective factors, like alkalic gastric mucus production , undisturbed mucosa of the stomach and duodenum, congestion of the mucose and so on. Nowadays we are talking about s.c. primary ulcers, i.e. HP positive ulcers and induced ulcers most often in the relation with non-steroid antiinflammatory drugs. In the period of several last years more drug induced lesions have appeared clinical course of which is often asymptomatic untill bleeding to GIT occurs.Etiopathogenetic interrelations significantly affected our therapeutical approach – mandatory HP erradication in lesions HP positive, mucosa impairment prevention in patients with non-steroid antiinflammatory drugs or specific therapy of patients with endocrine or metabolic ulcers.
