Non-specific bowel inflammations are constant medical problem. Pathogenesis of the disease is not clear and thus therapy can partly affect some immunological processes. Therapy is complex, with biological therapy at the top, that removes abundant number of key cytokines. The subject of the presented work is the survey of anti TNF alpha substances which have been used for long in daily practice. At the end of the work our 5-year experience and results of treatment of patients with Crohn´s disease and ulcer disease are presented. We are pleased with improved clinical condition, endoscopic finding and better mental condition of patients; however, we have to be very careful in application of the therapy because of severe immunological impact on organism and possible complications.
