Complications of acute pancreatitis and concomitant inflammatory response include acute fluid collection, a pseudocyst, pancreatic abscess and organized pancreatic necrosis. More frequent pseudocysts are a complication of chronic pancreatitis. Finding a pseudocyst can be random, during surveillance or due to clinical manifestations. In differential diagnosis, it is important to exclude cystic pancreatic neoplasia or cystic altered carcinomas. When diagnosing and distinguishing from other diseases, endoscopic ultrasound elastography can be used. Invasive methods of diagnosis of cystic lesions and treatment of pseudocysts have their specific indications. Conservative management or surveillance of a pseudocyst is often possible. In our case report, we present diagnostic and surveillance of pseudocysts using endoscopic ultrasound and elastography until its spontaneous absorption.
